NEWSFLASH!
Oracle is now talking! He started off whistling... has the wolf-whistle down pat, and he also whistles as I do when I'm calling the Borzoi (Russian Wolfhounds) brothers, Myth and Magick!
He then progressed to saying "WISE GUY", "HI", "WHATCHA DOING?" and more. He is working on more vocabulary daily.
He started talking at the age of 8 months, I had been told previously that I could expect him to start talking at the age of 12 months... but as I already knew Oracle is a GENIUS!!!
March 20, 2003 -Oracle, in his aviary. We built a large addition on to one of the existing decks on our house to accommodate Oracle's roofed aviary. He's out there daily, unless the weather is very inclement.
March 20, 2003 -Oracle investigating the camera strap... He loves to swing by the beak from just about anything that looks suitable. :-)
